Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift | Cleveland, OH
Hours & Location
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Location: Cleveland, OH (near Detroit Ave.)
- Breaks: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $28.00+ per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities
This role focuses on maintaining and improving plant equipment and infrastructure to support the heat treatment of metals. A typical day includes:
This role focuses on maintaining and improving plant equipment and infrastructure to support the heat treatment of metals. A typical day includes:
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment
- Installing and repairing new machinery
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- General facility upkeep such as painting, replacing lighting, basic repairs, etc.
- Using prints and schematics to complete tasks
- Performing basic MIG welding and working with hand tools
- Operating a forklift and lifting up to 50 lbs when needed
- Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- MIG welding skills (basic level acceptable)
- Forklift experience
- Strong problem-solving mindset and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in hot conditions and confined spaces
- Can lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English)
- Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekends
