Position Overview:
The Mixer will be trained on how to produce large rubber slabs for molding. The Mixer will not be afraid to get dirty, as they will be following a batch ticket to mix polymers and other ingredients based on batch requirements. Each rubber slab is stacked on a pallet at the end of the process, and the Mixer will be responsible for all stages of the production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operations of a rubber mold/press machine
- Load/unload materials into machine per instructions
- Oversee each operation to ensure it is done correctly
- Keep machines running to meet production expectations
- Visually inspect parts, which can be small, for visual defects
Requirements:
- Ability to stand on feet for 10 hours continuously
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Must be willing to work both Day and Night shifts
- Reliable attendance
- Strong visual acuity
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Must have own reliable transportation
