Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for a series of existing accounts, performing tasks such as order entry, shipment tracking, pricing verification, and new product quoting. This individual will field orders by phone, email, and fax, processing them into the Syteline ERP system and checking all details for accuracy. The ideal individual will have an interest in account management, inside sales, and new product development opportunities as a path of advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process inbound customer purchase orders for fulfillment
- Answer customer service inquiries via phone and email
- Ensure customer expectations are exceeded and communications are clear
- Work closely with shop management to expedite orders as dictated
- learn product knowledge and industries served to identify cross selling opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer Service background preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- MS Office skills - intermediate preferred
