Position Overview: 

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong, stable background in a small office environment as an Administrator.  Job responsibilities will be diverse and change daily, which makes this a highly attractive role for someone looking to avoid repetition.    This individual will report directly to the President, with projects/tasks assigned from her.   Work tasks will include general office support (phones, customer service, filing etc), preparing for company events, HR support, developing spreadsheets/reports and supporting the accounting clerk. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all general office activities proactively 
  • Complete projects and tasks as dictated by the President
  • Prepare spreadsheets, letters, and documents in MS Office
  • Learn basic accounting process to support A/P and A/R as needed
  • Prepare and support company compliance documentation
  • Function as internal HR liaison, with support from third party vendor
  • Identify areas of opportunity and drive feedback to the President
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of small business Administrative/Office Management experience 
  • Strong MS Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel (ability to generate a spreadsheet from scratch)
  • Above average business acumen; ability to anticipate office needs
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
