Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Assembly Worker to join our team. This role involves working with plastic materials, operating CNC Router Machines, and assembling products. No prior experience is needed, as comprehensive training will be provided. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, reliable, and local to the Chagrin Falls area.

Key Responsibilities:

Load plastic materials onto a CNC Router Machine for cutting.
Remove cut plastic pieces and prepare them for welding and assembly.
Use a utility knife to cut out pieces, similar to assembling a jigsaw puzzle.
Learn and perform plastic welding.
Operate a tow motor to transport materials within the shop.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading/loading trucks and preparing shipping labels (UPS, FedEx).
Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hand saws for assembly tasks.

Requirements:

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions.
Tow motor and shipping/receiving experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule:

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Paid 1-hour lunch break and additional short breaks throughout the day.
Approximately 5 hours of overtime per week.

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting pay: $17.00 per hour.
Contract-to-hire after 600 hours.
Overtime opportunities available.
