Position Overview:
The Forming Operator will work in a team based setting with 3-4 other individuals, and will be cross trained to each work station within. Each step of the process involves the shaping, curing, testing, and packaging of various automotive hoses, primarily for fuel applications. Individuals can expect fast paced but light duty work that requires some hand dexterity. Will be placing hoses into grooved molds and removing them repetitively. A break is given EVERY HOUR!
Key Responsibilities:
- Placing hoses into molds (less than 5 lbs per part, mold included)
- Load molds into baskets
- Set up curing ovens to appropriate settings
- Pressure test finished product for any leaks/defects
- Package finished product based on order specifications
Requirements:
- Above average hand strength/dexterity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a 3-4 person team setting
- Commitment to production standards and quality expectations
- Positive attitude is a must
- Reliable Attendance
- High School Diploma or GED
