Position Overview: Fabricator / General Labor – Construction Manufacturing
Join a trusted leader in midrise construction as a Fabricator/General Laborer. This hands-on role involves fabricating steel wall panels in a production setting. Join a trusted leader in midrise construction as a Fabricator/General Laborer. This hands-on role involves fabricating steel wall panels in a production setting. If you’re dependable, accurate with a tape measure, and ready to work as part of a dedicated team, this could be a great long-term opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble steel wall panels as part of a team in a production line setting.
- Use basic hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
- Accurately read and interpret tape measurements down to 1/16”.
- Stand for long periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a clean, productive workspace.
Requirements:
- Must pass a tape measure proficiency test at the interview.
- Comfortable working in a dusty environment (not suitable for individuals with asthma).
- Steel toe boots required (all other PPE provided).
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and looking for long-term employment.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Pay: $17 per hour
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
