Company Overview:
Our marketing and printing client located in Cleveland, Ohio is looking to expand their team and add a Bindery Operator!
Position Overview:
The Bindery Operator will be responsible for operating the Bindery Machine to bind and finish printed materials including books, publications, magazines, etc. This could include folding, cutting, gluing, stitching and binding materials by hand. Person will read work orders to set up the machines for each specific job. This position is 1st shift- Monday through Friday 6am to 2pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and Operator the Bindery Machine.
- Perform cutting, folding, gluing, stitching and binding of materials.
- Adjust the machine as needed.
- Read work orders for each specific order.
- Inspections of final product before shipping.
- Shrink wrapping for shipping.
- Max lift is 30 lbs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a machine operator at a printing company.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs regularly.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
