Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and manage our full spectrum of accounting responsibilities. This critical role offers growth opportunities as our company expands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and accounts payable accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversee accounts receivable to maintain consistent cash flow.
- Develop annual budgets and monthly financial statements.
- Maintain a balanced general ledger and prepare financial reports.
- Monitor variances from projected budgets and advise management on compliance needs.
- Establish and maintain bookkeeping policies and procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements weekly and manage cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, including financial statement preparation.
- Budgeting experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Foundation accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
