Job Title: General Labor – Metal Sorting & Processing
Hours & Location:
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Training on 1st shift for approximately 1 month before moving to assigned shift

Job Responsibilities:
Sort incoming metal scrap (brass, bronze, copper) by hand or with a scanner gun
Verify load contents match delivery tickets
Operate a Bricker machine to compact scrap metal for processing
Transport materials using a sit-down tow motor
Perform housekeeping duties including sweeping and keeping work areas clean
Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout the entire shift
Work in varying temperatures (hot and cold)
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Required Qualifications:
Reliable attendance (strict attendance policy in place)
Attention to detail and situational awareness in a manufacturing environment
Able to lift, bend, and move throughout shift
Sit-down tow motor experience preferred
Comfortable wearing a respirator at times
Manufacturing or scrap/steel industry experience preferred
Open to working overtime, including every other Saturday
Willingness to train and work in multiple plant areas
