Our client is hiring a CNC Laser Operator to join their fabrication team. This role involves producing custom sheet metal components used in high-performance power systems. Responsibilities:
- Set up, edit, and operate CNC laser/punch combination machines.
- Collaborate with production engineers to execute correct machine programs.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform inspections using micrometers and calipers to ensure quality standards.
- Complete daily startup/shutdown routines and clean workstations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspection of tools and machines.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in CNC operation; laser machine experience is a plus.
- Strong blueprint reading and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to inspect work using precision tools.
- Comfortable with computer programs and documentation.
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Able to stand, bend, crouch, and lift throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Steel-toe boots required.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Evening Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Pay: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience)
- Contract-to-hire or direct hire available
