Job Description
Job Title: CNC Machinist – Mills, Lathes, and Drill Presses
Hours & Location:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Located in Cleveland, OH (Zip: 44102)
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $28/hour, based on experience
- Contract-to-hire opportunity with raise potential after hire
- Benefits upon hire include:
- Medical, dental, and vision (low employee contribution)
- Company-paid life insurance ($15,000; additional coverage available)

Job Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, you'll work in a clean, supportive environment operating and programming machines including mills, lathes, and drill presses. Key tasks include:
As a CNC Machinist, you'll work in a clean, supportive environment operating and programming machines including mills, lathes, and drill presses. Key tasks include:
- Setting up and operating HAAS CNC machines
- Making job-specific tooling changes
- Interpreting blueprints and drawings accurately
- Programming/editing directly at the machine using G-code
- Inspecting final parts for accuracy
- Reading calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Working with both plastic and metal materials
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining flexibility for shop tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of CNC set-up and programming experience
- Proficient in G-code and machining processes for milling and turning
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Effective communicator and team player
- Solid work ethic and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
- Must wear steel toe boots
- Subject to pre-employment background check and 5-panel drug screen
