Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our busy and dedicated team. Operating in a 40,000-square-foot facility, we specialize in metal stampings, producing components and springs primarily for the fire sprinkler industry. As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for the setup and efficient operation of our stamping presses (60-ton or less) to ensure high-quality output. This role requires an attention to detail and commitment to quality, working in a clean, well-lit environment with a team that values each member's contributions.

As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for the setup and efficient operation of our stamping presses (60-ton or less) to ensure high-quality output. This role requires an attention to detail and commitment to quality, working in a clean, well-lit environment with a team that values each member's contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up stamping presses, ensuring accurate and efficient die settings for each production run.
- Load metal coils onto machines and make adjustments to feeder and dies as needed.
- Ensure the first piece is accurate and monitor production for consistent quality.
- Use micrometers and calipers to verify measurements.
- Communicate any quality concerns with the Plant Manager and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in setup, ideally with stamping presses.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using various measuring devices (micrometers, calipers).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a good work attendance history.
- Shop floor manufacturing experience, with an ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturdays as needed, 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
