Position Overview:
Join our team as a Lift Truck Operator in a fast-paced, safety-first environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by safely moving and storing products, loading and unloading freight, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support safety, health, and environmental programs to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Comply with safety policies, practices, OSHA standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Report unsafe activities, equipment malfunctions, and incidents promptly to supervisors or HR.
- Operate lift trucks to move products to designated storage areas efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment.
- Stack and store merchandise securely in assigned areas.
- Perform daily lift truck safety inspections and complete inspection checklists.
- Assist with shift coverage, including overtime and covering for vacation or call-offs.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in lift truck operation is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
