Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Electronics Test Technician to join our team. This role involves testing, troubleshooting, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and the ability to diagnose and fix PCB malfunctions. You will be responsible for setting up test stations, performing AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) checks, and reporting on faults in the boards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and familiarity with testing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and troubleshoot printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Repair electronic assemblies with minimal supervision
- Set up and operate test stations and PCB x-ray machines
- Diagnose and report on malfunctions in circuit board assemblies
- Perform AQL checks on tested products
- Work with tools such as multimeters, soldering irons, and oscilloscopes
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience testing and troubleshooting PCBs
- Strong understanding of electronics and ability to repair faulty boards
- Experience with tools like multimeters, soldering irons, and oscilloscopes
- Must pass a colorblindness test (working with colored wires)
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Dissipative) shoes (voucher provided after hire)
- US citizenship required
