Company Overview:
Champion Personnel is currently seeking a Machine Operator for our client locating in Cleveland, Ohio. Our client is a printing company that specializes in signs, banners, mailers and other marketing materials.
Position Overview:
The machine operator is responsible for operating an Embroidery Machine that embroiders logos onto fabric banners, signs and marketing materials for various customers. Person will select the fabric, cut the fabric, load the machine with the specific fabric and run the machine.
Looking for a person that has experience running an Embroidery machine. Machines are set up to run. Will check in apparel and verify correct quantities, colors, sizes etc. Ensure nothing is damaged or stained. Person will be selecting the fabrics for each job at hand. Could be sewing logos and other patterns on to the fabric. Rad instructions to cut the fabrics accurately. Perform any trouble shooting on machine when necessary. Check all finished product/materials for any defects. Will also be steaming, folding and bagging all finished product. Can be a male or female. Max lift 15 LBS.
Able to work at a relatively fast pace. Good attention to detail. It can be a male or female. Reliable Transportation. Able to work independently. Reliable and accountable. Positive attitude. Strong work ethic. Computer experience needed. Able to stand all shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read instructions to cut the fabrics accurately
- Operate an embroidery machine
- Check in apparel and verify correct quantities, colors, sizes on the computer.
- Inspect for damages and stains or defects
- Troubleshoot the machine if an issue occurs.
- Steam, fold and bag all finished products
Requirements:
- 1+ year of machine operating experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail
- Lift 15 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Experience on computers
Additional Details:
- Shift is 7am to 3:30pm Mon-Fri
- Starting pay is $16-$17 BOE
