Job Description
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated General Laborer to assist in various departments of our production facility. This role involves supporting operators in the heat-treating area, cleaning parts, assisting with assembly, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop. This is an entry-level position that offers stability, growth opportunities, and the potential to transition to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist operators with adjusting conveyor speeds in the heat-treating department.
- Clean parts using a water bath and spray system.
- Label and pack items for shipping.
- Use basic hand tools to assist in assembly operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Comfortable wearing a uniform and steel-toe boots.
- Ability to work overtime when needed, including occasional Saturdays.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
