Company Overview:

Our copper/brass/aluminum recycling company located in Bedford, Ohio has been in operations since 1913. We recycle, process and supply copper, brass and aluminum ingots. We are looking to add 6 individuals to our team!

Position Overview:

General Laborers will be responsible for sorting metals, operating the sit down tow motors and operating the bricker machine. Materials are received, weighed, sorted, compacted/bricked and then melted down and made into ingots! There are currently openings on 2nd and 3rd shift. Person must be able to train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate sit down tow motor
Sorting materials by hand and with scanner gun
Operating machines
Sweeping and clean up

Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs
Must have tow motor experience
Prior steel or scrap recycling experience preferred
Open to overtime every other Saturday
2nd chance company- case by case
Must pass a physical and be willing to wear a respirator, as needed.
