Job Description
Company Overview:
Our flux manufacturing client located in Solon, Ohio is looking to add 2 General Labor Mixers to their team. Fluxes include paste, powder and liquid used in the soldering, brazing and welding processes.
Position Overview:
General Labor Mixers will be trained on multiple positions. Person will be responsible for following a batch ticket or recipe card to prepare ingredients to be mixed. Will measure and weigh each material then load into the mixers and tumblers. Some other duties include packaging buckets and bags, labeling and preparing materials for shipment. Person is required to help out cleaning up between jobs to keep the shop organized and neat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading batch tickets and recipe cards
- Weighing and measuring materials
- Operate mixers and tumblers
- Loading machines
- Packaging buckets and bags
- Labeling and packing
- Cleaning
Requirements:
- Prior experience reading batch tickets and/or recipe cards
- Superb math skills; will take a basic math test
- Read, write and speak fluent English
- Machine operating, preferably mixing machines
- Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
