This stable, Cleveland, OH based steel slitting company has maintained a strong local presence for many years.   With an emphasis in the Agricultural industry, this organization has highly supportive ownership and management.   Location is conveniently located on the East side of Cleveland, and is easily accessible for most Northeast Ohioans.   

Position Overview:   

The Industrial Millwright will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of all plant equipment including roll forming machines, slitters, bandsaws, grinders, and bending equipment.   Individual will also maintain all lift equipment including tow motors and OH crane.    Work includes mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, part procurement, and preventative maintenance.   This individual is the sole Millwright that will be replacing a retiree.   This is a 1st shift position that does not require any regularly scheduled on-call or weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily safety walk, inspecting all equipment.
• Complete all routine preventative maintenance according to schedule
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures, diagnosing issue accurately
• Source parts from vendors and maintain inventory on frequently used items
• Install new machinery as it is procured

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance background required (Mechanical and all phase Electrical)
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• High proficiency in recognizing and diagnosing common equipment failures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills required
• Fabrication background highly preferred, but not necessary
