Position Overview: Labeling Operator – Industrial Coatings Manufacturing
Join a respected manufacturer of paints and coatings as a Labeling Operator in their Mentor, OH facility. This role involves operating labeling equipment for 1-gallon and 5-gallon containers and ensuring product accuracy before shipment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting production operations in a friendly, well-established company.
Responsibilities:
Operate labeling equipment, ensuring accurate and consistent label application.
Inspect product labels for quality and correctness.
Manage label inventory and coordinate restocking as needed.
Perform machine setups, part changes, and basic adjustments.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support the filling department as needed (filling paint into containers).
Operate a sit-down forklift as required.
Requirements:
Factory/manufacturing experience required.
Mechanically inclined; comfortable using hand and power tools.
Able to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
Basic computer skills, especially with Windows and Outlook.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in hot or cold environments.
Steel toe boots and safety glasses required (must bring steel toes to interview).
