Position Overview:   

Will be working over in the Secondary machine area.  These are multi spindle screw machines. It’s a type of lathe with multiple working spindles.  Each spindle has its own work piece with a cutting tool to complete the machining operation. These machines are set up already. You will be responsible for running the machines and monitoring product conformance to include measuring (using micrometers and calipers), inspecting for defects. as well as using measuring devices to ensure the depths are correct.  Max Lift is 50lbs.  Will need to have machine operating experience coming in, as they are not willing to train.

• Set-up multi-spindle screw machines in a fast-paced environment where safety and quality work are valued and demanded.
• Safely operate multi-spindle screw machines to meet or exceed production targets
• Measure and monitor product conformance to assure the excellent quality expected by our customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Collaborate and communicate with all team members to make a better workplace and satisfied customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.

Requirements:

• Stability in work history
• Previous experience operating Screw Machines or similar
• Must have a High School Diploma
• Will need to have vehicle/valid license, company is not on a bus line
• Knowledge of measuring tools
