Our custom foam manufacturing client located in Barberton, Ohio is seeking to add an experienced Maintenance Technician to our team! Position Overview:   

The Maintenance Technician will work in a 4-5 person team responsible for the preventative and diagnostic maintenance of over 70 pieces of plant equipment including die cut presses, shears, laminators and CNC machines. Ideal candidate will have experience and be comfortable with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repairs. This is a straight 1st shift position. 6am to 2:30pm Monday-Friday. There is no weekends and no-call required. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and diagnostic maintenance
• Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic repairs
• Maintain Inventory and report deficits
• Operate forklift and overhead crane to load/unload parts from equipment
• Support machine software and learn PLC's over time
• Support facilities maintenance as needed

Requirements:

• 1-5+ years of machine maintenance experience
• Post secondary education or certificate in Maintenance is preferred but not required
• Experienced with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
• Present yourself professionally with a high sense of accountability
• HS Diploma/GED is required
• Must pass a hair follicle drug screen that goes back 6 months
• Strong math skills
• Forklift/OH Crane experience
• Must be open minded, flexible and team focused.
