Position Overview: Mechanical Assembler – Power Equipment
We are seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing team that builds high-performance power distribution and monitoring systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll be assembling large electrical cabinets used by top-tier companies and organizations. Ideal candidates have a knack for working with their hands and following detailed instructions.
We are seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing team that builds high-performance power distribution and monitoring systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll be assembling large electrical cabinets used by top-tier companies and organizations. Ideal candidates have a knack for working with their hands and following detailed instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble metal cabinet frames and components using hand tools.
- Secure doors, shelves, and panels using bolts, nuts, and rivets.
- Follow written assembly instructions and interpret basic technical drawings.
- Stand, bend, reach, and occasionally climb ladders to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools (similar to DIY or car work).
- Ability to follow directions and diagrams with attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and perform physical tasks.
- Steel-toe boots required; company provides shirts after hire.
- Must be reliable and team-oriented.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Evening Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
- Pay: $19–$20+/hour, depending on experience
- Overtime available but not mandatory
