? Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to step into a key support role at a full-service logistics center that handles steel and aluminum coil distribution for the automotive industry. As an Office Clerk and Liaison to the Shipping Department, you’ll be the bridge between the front office and warehouse floor—tracking orders, handling documentation, and communicating with drivers and team members to keep everything moving smoothly.
This is a 90-day contract-to-hire position offering long-term opportunity, full benefits, and a collaborative work environment.
?️ Key Responsibilities:
Process inbound and outbound orders using the internal ERP system (SAP – training provided)
Monitor customer order screens and track daily activity
Handle calls and emails from customers regarding shipments
Prepare Bills of Lading for outbound shipments
Track and update warehouse inventory in the system
Occasionally move merchandise using a pallet jack
Walk finished paperwork to trailers and assist drivers during dispatch
✅ Requirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Familiarity with inventory tracking processes
Comfortable interacting with warehouse workers and drivers
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer usage
Steel toe boots required
Must pass a background check and 5-panel drug screen
