PEM Operator

Location: Aurora, OH
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Shifts Available:

Monday – Friday: 6 AM – 2:30 PM
Monday – Thursday: 2 PM – 12:30 AM
Weekend Shift: Friday 2 PM – 2 AM / Saturday & Sunday 11 AM – 11 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a PEM Operator to join a growing manufacturing company specializing in control panel production. In this role, you will operate a foot pedal-controlled PEM press, a machine designed to punch holes/divots and install PEM fasteners into metal parts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine operation experience who want to build a career in a stable and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a PEM machine (foot pedal-controlled punch press).
Load metal parts into the machine, operate the foot pedal, and remove finished materials.
The machine automatically inserts fasteners, nuts, studs, and panel screws.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

6 months to 1 year of machine operation experience required.
No need to read blueprints or use micrometers/calipers.
Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Must wear steel-toe boots, jeans, and a shirt.
