Metal Production Associate
Location: Oakwood Village, OH
Pay Rate: $16 per hour (with a $1/hr increase upon hire)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 3-day (36 hours) or 4-day (48 hours) shifts, 7 AM – 7 PM

Position Overview:
Join a growing team at a leading metal recycling company specializing in processing electric vehicle batteries and other industrial materials. We are looking for motivated individuals who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and thrive in a hands-on industrial environment.
As a Metal Production Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a front loader to move crushed metal materials into the kiln.
- Using a sit-down forklift to transport finished products onto pallets and assist in shipping.
- Working in the bagging area to collect, package, and seal finished materials.
- Cleaning equipment and conveyors to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
- Handling materials such as recycled Tesla, Honda, and cell phone batteries.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
Requirements:
- Tow motor experience preferred.
- Comfortable working in physical conditions, including exposure to the elements.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, and perform manual labor.
- Clean-shaven for respirator use where required (company provides respirators).
- Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required (provided by company).
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen.
- Felony-friendly hiring policy (case-by-case basis).
