Position Overview: Quality Assurance Inspector – Power Systems Manufacturing
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to support inspection, calibration, and documentation processes within a high-tech power systems manufacturing environment. If you have experience with precision measuring tools, a sharp eye for quality, and an interest in electronics or electrical systems, this is an excellent opportunity for a stable, long-term role in a growing company.
Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections to ensure components and products meet standards.
Perform equipment calibrations and maintain inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches).
Document quality processes and produce accurate reports using MS Word and Excel.
Collaborate with the Quality Engineer on audits, part tracking, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
Evaluate incoming materials for non-conformance and assist in vendor coordination.
Work in both the shop and quality office environments.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with dimensional measuring equipment and blueprint reading.
Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
Familiarity with quality management principles and terminology.
Background in electronics/electrical (assembly experience acceptable).
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and reliable.
Schedule & Compensation:
Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Night Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay: $21–$22 per hour
Contract-to-hire or direct hire opportunity depending on experience
