Quality Control Lab Technician – Willoughby, OH
Pay: $19/hr + Shift Differential (2nd Shift: +$1/hr, 3rd Shift: +$1.10/hr)
Shift Options: Flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts (confirmed at hire)
Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in quality control? We are seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team in Willoughby, OH. This position plays a critical role in ensuring parts meet strict quality standards for the aerospace, automotive, and agricultural industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and confirm part conformance to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Perform hardness tests, pyrometry calibrations, and other lab tests.
- Prepare brazing material samples for certification.
- Identify and report non-conforming parts to management.
- Answer internal calls to update on job progress.
- Prepare material certifications and certificates of conformance.
- Perform data entry and documentation for quality reports.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 12+ months of Quality Lab experience (preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment).
- Strong math skills and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including report generation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
