Company Overview:

Our metal stampings client located on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio is in need of an experienced Quality Technician. We have been in business for over 80 years. We specialize in manufacturing customized small to medium sized metal pieces and parts for a variety of industries.

Position Overview:

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing inspections on all parts being manufactured and collecting quality data. These are single hit machines. Product is stamped out of sheets of metal. Person will then examine and inspect the completed product and place into bin. This individual will work closely with the Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspections using mics, cals and gauges
Perform 1st piece and in process inspections
Collect data on dimensions
Read blueprints for each custom piece/part
Verifying tolerances are accurate

Requirements:

Previous Quality experience- preferably in a stampings environment.
Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours
Read and write English
Read blueprints
Experienced with mics, cals and gauges
Lifting 20 lbs consistently
Excellent math skills
