Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated General Assembler to join our busy team. You will be assembling switches that regulate airflow in furnaces, handling parts such as nuts, bolts, screws, and washers. The work is repetitive but straightforward, making it ideal for someone new to assembly work. This is a contract-to-hire position, with room for growth in a well-established company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble furnace control switches by attaching small parts to the base mounting pan
- Perform repetitive tasks, such as putting washers onto springs
- Maintain a steady workflow while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Light lifting (up to 15 lbs) and standing for long periods of time
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Ability to stand in one spot for the entire shift
- Reliable and accountable with a strong work ethic
- Some assembly experience preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
Work Environment & Benefits:
- Flexible shift options (Monday-Thursday: 4:00 AM-2:30 PM or Monday-Friday: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM)
