Shipper II – Willoughby, OH
Pay: $19/hr + Shift Differential (2nd Shift: +$1/hr, 3rd Shift: +$1.10/hr)
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Are you an experienced shipper looking for a great opportunity in a growing company? We are seeking a Shipper II to join our dynamic team in Willoughby, OH. This role involves full-service shipping responsibilities, including forklift operation, documentation, and coordination with major clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use forklifts to weigh, load/unload, and move parts within the shipping area.
- Verify incoming parts and materials against shipping paperwork.
- Process and prepare outbound shipments, including FedEx and UPS orders.
- Assist in setting up specialty shipments for major clients like John Deere.
- Follow strict safety procedures, including dock lock and vehicle parking protocols.
- Train and mentor Shipper I employees.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 12 months of recent shipping and receiving experience.
- At least 12 months of forklift experience.
- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation; experience in a regulated environment preferred.
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly.
- Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Must be comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
