Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Position Overview
 We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team in a growing and employee-focused manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing the logistics of shipping and receiving, ensuring accurate and timely processing of materials and shipments. If you have experience with international shipping, warehouse management systems, and thrive in a structured yet flexible work environment, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify received materials against specifications and prepare products for shipment based on sales order instructions.
  • Operate warehouse management systems, including Starship, EDI, UPS, and FedEx.
  • Utilize motorized lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Prepare bills of lading and verify work order details for quantities, routing, and destinations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through counting, sorting, labeling, and logging items.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and shipping software (e.g., Starship, EDI).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong data entry and basic math skills.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and commercial shipping methods.
  • Ability to recognize, count, and verify numbers accurately.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule
  • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly pay based on experience.
  • Paid half-hour lunch break.
