Flexible Tarp Assembler
Location: Willoughby, OH
Pay Rate: $16.25 - $16.75 per hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (600 hours)

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Flexible Tarp Assemblers. In this hands-on role, you will work in a manufacturing environment, assembling high-quality spill containment tarps. This position involves teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a warm setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a partner to assemble tarps ranging in size from 4’ x 4’ to 12’ x 50’.
• Use mallets to punch slits in tarps and apply high heat (up to 1100°F) to form seams.
• Secure tarps using clamps, staple guns, and metal stays for reinforcement.
• Handle and move heavy materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience preferred, especially in plastics.
• Ability to work in a warm environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Large hands preferred due to the nature of the work.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check (certain misdemeanors and felonies considered).

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday – Friday or Monday – Thursday)
• 2nd Shift: 1:45 PM – 10:45 PM (Monday – Thursday) / 1:45 PM – 5:45 PM (Friday)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sunday – Thursday)
