Company Overview:

Champion Personnel is currently seeking experienced Test Technicians for our client located in Aurora, Ohio. Our client designs and manufactures best-in-class power quality products including Static Transfer Switches, Power Distribution Units and Remote Power Panels.

Position Overview:

A Test Technician conducts tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of products and equipment. They interpret quality standards, diagrams, and specifications then execute tests accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and test electronic power equipment, transformers and circuit breakers
Troubleshoot AC and DC power and control circuits (up to 480v)
Perform repairs of control, power and fiber optic assemblies
Perform crimping and routing of wires, as needed
Programming electronic devices, interfacing with computer and programs on computer
Completing test reports and documentation

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or 2+ years of related experience
Proficient with Voltmeter/meter reading
Read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
Ability to lift 30lbs. regularly
Advanced experience with computers including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Excellent eyesight and hand/eye coordination
Must be comfortable working around electronics and voltages up to 480v

Additional Details:

Shifts available: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm M-F and 2nd 2pm to 12:30am M-Thurs
Starting pay is based on experience
