Position Overview:   

The Sandblaster is responsible for using an air powered tool used to blast and remove excess material, primarily ceramic, from recently molded parts.   The position requires a keen eye for detail and a steady hand, as parts can be thin/delicate.   Work is completed in a regulated industry and environment with rigorous quality expectations.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Load parts into sandblasting machine
• Secure part in a fixture based on work instructions
• Precise removal of excess materials 
• Visual inspection to confirm no material is left
• Accurate and timely completion of quality and production control documentation

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required (including physical proof)
• 12+ months of Industrial/Manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions consistently
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime as assigned
