Job Description

Job Title: Material Handler (Tow Motor & Overhead Crane)

Location & Hours:

Brooklyn, OH (Brookpark Road location)
First Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay & Employment Type:

$19 per hour
Contract-to-hire opportunity

Job Responsibilities:

Load and unload steel and aluminum coil shipments in a warehouse environment
Operate a sit-down tow motor (forklift) and overhead crane (overhead crane used approximately 80% of the time)
Stage materials for shipping or storage
Use a handheld scanner to log and receive incoming materials
Keep warehouse clean and organized
Manually lift items weighing 30–50 lbs

Qualifications:

Solid sit-down tow motor experience required
Willingness to train on overhead crane operation
Good communication and reliability are essential
Not a job hopper; must demonstrate consistent work history
High energy, team-oriented, and dependable
Background check and 5-panel drug screen required (no felony history accepted)

Work Environment & Culture:

Work involves handling heavy steel coil materials, primarily for the automotive industry
Small, tight-knit team—only two employees on-site currently
Bi-Lingual work environment
Training provided by senior team members
Safety protocol reviewed on the first day
Requires steel toe boots; long sleeve shirts and jeans recommended
