Job Description
Company Overview:
Champion Personnel is currently seeking both trainees and experienced Wiring Assemblers for our client located in Aurora, Ohio. Our client designs and manufactures best-in-class power quality products including Static Transfer Switches, Power Distribution Units and Remote Power Panels.
Position Overview:
The Wiring Assembler is responsible for following work orders, routers, and schematics to prepare/wire sub-assemblies to be installed in the power distribution equipment. Will prepare materials including wrapping, heat shrinking, and performing point-to-point wiring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret wiring schematics, drawings, and order details
- Perform color guided point-to-point wiring
- Secure and prepare required materials to complete order
- Maintain appropriate supply of materials needed for production
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they are correct
- Maintain a safe, clean environment
Requirements:
- 1+ year of wiring experience preferred, but not required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong visual acuity
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to follow complex written instructions and diagrams
- Strong commitment to safety
Additional Details:
- Shifts available: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm M-F and 2nd 2pm to 12:30am M-Thurs
- Starting pay is based on experience
