Job Description
Company Overview:
Champion Personnel is currently seeking experienced Final Inspectors for our client located in Streetsboro, Ohio. Our client designs and manufactures best-in-class power quality products including Static Transfer Switches, Power Distribution Units and Remote Power Panels.
Position Overview:
A Final Inspector will be responsible for ensuring products leaving the facility have met all quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Follow 3D model to install final parts (i.e. cover panels, labels, etc.) on power cabinets
- Use standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete tasks assigned
- Clean all power cabinets, inside and outside before they are shipped to customers.
- Check all computer documentation of prior departments for accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized work area.
- Assist in other tasks in the Staging Department as needed.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (i.e. web browser, email)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately verify and label materials
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in final inspection, material handling, or warehouse operations
- Communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
Additional Details:
- Shifts available: 1st- 6am to 2:30pm M-F, 2nd- 2pm to 12:30am M-Thurs
- Starting pay is based on experience. $20-21 per hour.
