Job Title: Tow Motor Operator
Hours & Location:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Located in Cleveland, OH
- 30-minute lunch break
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $18.00/hour
- Contract-to-hire opportunity with a chance for a pay increase upon permanent hire
- Benefits after hire-in include:
- Medical insurance (eligibility after 30 days)
- Paid vacation (1 week after first year)
- Paid holidays
Job Responsibilities:
This position is centered around forklift operation in a distribution setting. Daily tasks include:
This position is centered around forklift operation in a distribution setting. Daily tasks include:
- Operating a sit-down tow motor to stage pallets of charcoal and rock salt
- Loading and unloading trucks in shipping and receiving
- Lifting up to 40 lbs as needed
- Working outdoors and in varying weather conditions – proper attire is important
- Supporting the team with additional warehouse tasks when required
Required Qualifications:
- Experienced forklift operator with strong sit-down tow motor skills
- Background in manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse environments
- Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and working outdoors year-round
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Steel-toe boots not required, but durable work boots are preferred
Work Environment & Safety:
- Jeans, t-shirt, and boots (dress for weather conditions)
- Family-owned, smaller work setting with hands-on teamwork
- Products handled include natural lump charcoal and rock salt
