Quality Technician – 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Available!
Location: Wickliffe, OH
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM
Pay & Benefits
Starting pay ranges from $20–$24/hr, depending on experience and shift
$1.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Contract-to-hire opportunity with raise upon permanent hire

Job Responsibilities
As a Quality Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring top-tier quality for parts produced by high-speed Roll Forming machinery. Your daily duties will include:
Performing first piece, in-process, and final inspections of metal parts
Using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify part dimensions
Confirming all specifications match blueprints and meet tight tolerances
Documenting inspection results accurately and clearly
Collaborating with shop floor workers, supervisors, and the quality manager
Identifying and helping resolve quality-related issues
Ensuring production stays aligned with internal and customer standards
Required Qualifications
Strong blueprint reading skills
Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and basic inspection tools
Basic computer knowledge and shop math proficiency
Solid communication and organizational skills
Ability to stand for long periods and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Proficiency in English (reading and writing)
Must have prior experience in a manufacturing environment
Must pass a drug screen and background check (felonies reviewed case-by-case; no sex or violent offenses)
You’ll be required to take a measurement skills test during the interview to assess your proficiency with inspection tools.

The facility is clean, organized, and highly collaborative, producing metal components for industries like truck and trailer manufacturing, HVAC, appliances, and material handling systems.
Expect a hands-on, production-focused setting where quality matters and your skills make a direct impact. Safety gear is provided and includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and ear protection.
