We are hiring an experienced CNC Mill Programmer / Setup Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company.
To be considered, candidates MUST have experience with all three of the following:
- Haas controls
- Mastercam or GibbsCAM
- Multi-axis machining, including 4th and/or 5th axis
This is a skilled-level position for someone who can independently program, set up, run, and inspect CNC-milled components from blueprint through finished part.
What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines
- Create CNC programs using Mastercam or GibbsCAM
- Set up and operate 4th- and 5th-axis machinery
- Work with Haas controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and sample parts
- Determine dimensions, tolerances, machining sequences, and setup requirements
- Select and set up tooling, fixtures, workholding, and materials
- Perform trial runs to verify programs and machine settings
- Monitor machining and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Troubleshoot machining, setup, and quality issues
- Follow safety and quality procedures
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
- Haas control experience
- 3+ years of Mastercam or GibbsCAM experience
- 4th- and/or 5th-axis machining experience
- CNC mill programming and setup experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications
- Experience working with precision tolerances and inspection equipment
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with benefits including health insurance after 90 days, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
No rotating shifts — consistent weekday, first-shift schedule.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
