We are hiring an experienced Machine Setup Operator for a busy manufacturing facility producing industrial brush products used in commercial cleaning, food service, and street sweeping equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical ability who can set up, adjust, and troubleshoot machines — not just operate them.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust horizontal production machines and lathes
- Load cylinders and brush materials into machines
- Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments
- Monitor production and troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Inspect finished products for quality
- Use hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, pliers, and utility knives
- Assemble brush components and packaging materials
- Lift materials up to 50 lbs. as needed
Qualifications
✔ Previous machine setup or manufacturing experience
✔ Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
✔ Comfortable working with hand tools and machinery
✔ Strong attention to detail and safety
✔ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
✔ Ability to work independently and stay productive
