Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Airfoil Braze Operator / Assembly Operator / Manufacturing Technician for a leading heat treating and metal processing company supporting the aerospace industry.
This is a full-time 2nd shift, contract-to-hire manufacturing position with long-term growth potential in a structured production environment.
Job Duties:
- Perform assembly and mechanical assembly of metal components
- Prepare parts for furnace brazing (cleaning, grinding, solvent wash)
- Apply braze paste, shims, rings, and preforms
- Operate basic spot welding and brazing equipment
- Conduct quality inspection and visual inspection
- Complete production documentation and inspection logs
- Follow detailed work instructions, SOPs, and production standards
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in an industrial manufacturing environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of assembly experience or manufacturing/operator experience
- Experience in production, fabrication, metal processing, or industrial manufacturing preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Comfortable working in heat, noise, and a fast-paced production floor
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
