Weekend Heat Treat Specialist – 1st & 3rd Shift
Willoughby, OH | $23.61–$24.61/hr | Temp-to-Hire
Looking for a manufacturing position where you can work your regular schedule in three 12-hour shifts? We are currently hiring Weekend Heat Treat Specialists for an established metal-processing facility in Willoughby.
Pay & Schedule
Weekend 1st Shift
- Friday–Sunday
- 6:30 AM–6:30 PM
- $23.61/hr
Weekend 3rd Shift
- Friday–Sunday
- 6:30 PM–6:30 AM
- $24.61/hr
Employees may also have the opportunity to pick up an additional shift during the week for overtime.
What You'll Do
Heat Treat Specialists help process metal components used in aerospace and other industries where quality and precision are critical.
- Load and unload metal parts
- Arrange parts in baskets according to work instructions
- Read and follow detailed work orders
- Enter production information accurately
- Move and stage materials throughout the department
- Use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
- Follow established quality and safety procedures
- Keep your work area clean and organized
There are also opportunities to learn forklift and overhead crane operation.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6–12 months of relevant manufacturing, production, warehouse, heat treat, or industrial experience
- Strong attendance and dependability
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures
- Basic computer/data-entry skills
- Ability to stand and remain active throughout a 12-hour shift
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a warm industrial environment
- Willingness to learn and take feedback
- Reliable transportation to Willoughby
- Steel-toe boots
Previous heat treat experience is a plus, but not required.
