Now Hiring: Water & Softener Assembler
Shift:
11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday
Pay:18.00 per hour
Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a steady overnight shift? We are seeking a Water & Softener Assembler to join our production team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, follows instructions well, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the Water & Softener Assembler builds products according to work instructions and production specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn differences between various drinking water and softener products and their components
- Assemble products according to daily production schedules and job instructions
- Test assembled products to ensure quality standards are met
- Package finished products per specifications
- Cross-train on multiple product lines
- Scan work orders to record completion and manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate with supervisors regarding stock, missing parts, or process questions
Performance Expectations
- Develop skills to perform repetitive assembly tasks across product lines
- Maintain quality standards with 5% or fewer errors
- Meet pace and daily production goals
- Demonstrate increasing independence in assembly processes
- Gain proficiency with fixtures, tester equipment, and product lines
- Show strong attention to detail and effective team communication
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required (or 1 year of similar experience)
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Comfortable working with small parts
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, positive attitude, and flexible approach
Physical & Work Environment
- Shop/manufacturing environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Regular lifting up to 20 lbs and maneuvering up to 30 lbs
- Exposure to production noise and silicone
- Seasonal temperature changes (heat/cold)
- Fast-paced, quality-driven environment
