Machine Operator – CNC Router (Contract-to-Hire)
Middleburg Heights, OH | 1st Shift
Pay: $18–$20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
Breaks: ½ hour lunch + two 10-minute breaks

Their products—such as grit-coated tapes, stair treads, and fiberglass step covers—are used worldwide to prevent slips and falls in commercial and residential environments. The shop is clean, organized, and team-oriented, with a laid-back culture and no micromanagement.
Job Summary
This role works in a small CNC machine area operating a router machine that is already set up. You’ll load fiberglass panels, run jobs from prints, inspect finished parts, and keep the machine and work area clean. Additional duties may include light sanding, material movement, and operating a sit-down tow motor.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC router machine (machine already set up)
- Load fiberglass panels and position materials correctly
- Run jobs per operator instructions and blueprints
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and defects
- Stack parts, verify counts, and track totals
- Vacuum machine table after each cycle and clean machine daily
- Perform light sanding to remove rough edges as needed
- Operate a sit-down tow motor and move materials throughout the shop
- Package materials and assist in other departments when required
Requirements
- Prior CNC machine operating experience (router preferred)
- Manufacturing background with stable job history
- Ability to read prints and use measuring tools (ruler)
- Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs
- Able to stand and move throughout the entire shift
- Reliable, punctual, and focused (phone use discouraged)
- Comfortable working in a louder shop environment
- Able to read, speak, and understand English
- Willing to work overtime when needed
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Must wear required PPE (safety glasses provided)
