Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Die Setter for a well-established metal stamping manufacturer serving OEM and Tier 1 automotive suppliers since 1986. If you have progressive die setup experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an outstanding direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits and employee ownership.

- Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Overtime available on Fridays (½ day)
- Direct Hire Position
What You'll Do
- Set up and change over progressive dies on stamping presses
- Remove and install dies while ensuring proper alignment
- Adjust feed mechanisms and press settings
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot stamping equipment during production
- Complete setup documentation and production paperwork
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications before full production begins
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous die setting experience in a metal stamping environment
✔ Experience with progressive dies and stamping presses
✔ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
✔ Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
✔ Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
✔ Steel-toe boots required
✔ Experience with progressive dies and stamping presses
✔ Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
✔ Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
✔ Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
✔ Steel-toe boots required
