Injection Molding / General Assembly Operator
Hours & Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay & Contract Details
Starting Pay: $14.55 per hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
Hire-In Raise: Increase of $0.50–$1.00/hour once hired permanently, based on attendance and work performance
About the Role
This position works hands-on in a manufacturing environment producing custom overmolded cable and wire harness assemblies used in heavy equipment, aerospace, and medical industries. The machines are fully set up—your focus will be on consistent operation, quality inspection, and meeting daily production goals.
Much of the work is seated and repetitive, requiring steady hand use and strong attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get established in manufacturing and grow with a stable operation.
Job Responsibilities
Operate injection molding machines using a foot pedal
Place finished parts into the machine for overmolding
Visually inspect parts for defects or imperfections
Report quality issues to the shop floor supervisor
Place acceptable parts into bins for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Work cooperatively with team members to meet production targets
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Repetitive tasks with extended periods of sitting
Light lifting only (up to 10 lbs. max)
Clean, organized shop floor
Safety glasses provided
Casual dress code: jeans, t-shirt, closed-toe shoes
Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication skills
Reliable attendance and positive attitude
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks
Ability to use hands for fine, consistent work
Previous exposure to a manufacturing or shop-floor environment is helpful but not required

Machines are pre-set and ready to run
On-the-job training provided
