Hours & Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Fridays as needed
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Pay
Starting pay: $14.55/hour
Contract-to-Hire opportunity
Pay increase upon hire-in: $0.50 – $1.00/hour based on attendance and performance
Job Overview
This position works in a dedicated soldering and assembly area producing custom cable and wire harness assemblies used in industries such as heavy equipment, aerospace, and medical manufacturing. The role focuses on hand soldering small components, following repeatable processes in a clean, organized environment.
You’ll be part of a small team (4–6 people) performing detailed, hands-on work where consistency, focus, and steady hands matter.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hand soldering of wires to connectors and end pieces
Strip wire insulation to expose conductors
Apply flux and solder using a handheld soldering iron
Inspect finished connections for quality and defects
Repeat consistent processes throughout the shift
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Follow all safety and quality guidelines
Required Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
Good hand-eye coordination and steady hands
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while seated or standing
Comfortable working with small parts and precision work
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to communicate clearly with team members
Manufacturing or soldering experience is helpful but not required
